Ida, I Idolize Ya

I found a new heroine. Her name is Ida B. Wells. Seventy years before Rosa Parks refused to give up her bus seat to a white man, Ida at age 22 not only refused, but bit the conductor when he tried to force her to get up. It took three men to drag her off the bus. Now that is some spunk!
